No anonymous accounts. Every mixer needs to complete a verification process through Stripe to access uploaded songs. This is done by providing personal details and linking a valid bank account. Until this is done, mixers cant hear your song, download stems or submit mixes. To verify their identity further, mixers have the option to confirm their identity with government ID (also done through Stripe). This enables the mixer to access songs available for ID-verified only. Artists choose if their song is available for all verified mixers or ID-verified only.

Your song is never public. There is no public song catalogue, no SEO-indexed track pages, and no way for a fan, a journalist, or a random visitor to stumble onto unreleased material.

Every song you upload is treated as unreleased material. It is never visible to the public, never indexed by search engines, and never exposed to unverified accounts. You choose the access level for each upload: open to all verified mixers, or restricted to ID-verified mixers only. Your song is never public. Everyone else sees a blurred placeholder and a prompt to verify — nothing more.

Before a mixer can download stems, they must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. This is a binding legal contract that prevents them from sharing, redistributing, or publicly releasing any material they access on Mix Market.

Every time they download stems for a specific song, they sign again, tying that download to that exact project. Breaking the NDA leads to permanent suspension from the platform and direct legal action (5000 dollar fee payed out to the artist) — including damages — under Swedish and EU contract law.
